Minds Do Matter 2025

Welcome to the Minds Do Matter 2025 entry form.

This exhibition explores the relationship between art and mental health, celebrating the power of art to be life enhancing and life affirming.

Entry to Minds Do Matter is open to all ages and abilities and acceptance into the exhibition is non-competitive.

You may begin anywhere in this application form. Please ensure you save as you go.

You may submit multiple entries but you must complete a new form for each individual artwork. 

You may submit an individual entry AND be part of a group entry. 

Size limitations apply:

2D works -  600 x 900mm approximately including the frame. 

3D - up to 600 x 600 x 900mm approximately or 600 x 900 by 900mm approximately.

For work by artist groups the size limitation is 1200 x 1200mm including the frame.

You will be notified about the status of your entry - late August 2025

Late entries may be accepted depending on the date and gallery requirements. Any late entries must be negotiated by emailing karen@rantarts.com or phoning 0364116891.

Selected artists will be advised by email late August of their placement at a gallery chosen at the discretion of RANT Arts. This email will also advise selected artists of the artwork delivery dates for each venue. Artwork must be complete and ready for delivery by these dates. Delivery dates will vary depending on which venue your artwork is accepted to.

EXHIBITIONS:

In 2025 Minds Do Matter will be on display and open to the public at three venues concurrently on the following dates:

  • Launceston - QVMAG Inveresk, 3rd October - 7th December - To Be Confirmed

  • Devonport - RANT Arts - 4th October - 11th November

  • Hobart - Rosny Schoolhouse Gallery - 26th September  – 19th October

Please check each gallery website for opening days and times.

Details regarding exhibition launches will be announced mid September.

Artworks are for sale at the artist’s discretion. At RANT Arts in Devonport and at QVMAG in Launceston 100% of sales go to the artist. A 25% commission applies for artworks sold at Rosny Schoolhouse Gallery in Hobart.
